The Sobremesa Solita Red is the latest evolution in Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust’s Sobremesa lineup, building on the original Sobremesa blend that debuted as the company’s flagship release in 2015. Crafted with a focus on delivering a richer and more robust experience, the Solita Red cigar pays homage to the foundation laid by its predecessor while taking the profile in a bolder direction. Its introduction follows the discontinuation of the Cervantes Fino size from the core Sobremesa line, replacing it with a reimagined blend that retains the essence of Sobremesa while amplifying its intensity.

At the heart of the Sobremesa Solita Red is an Ecuadorian Habano grade 1 dark rosado wrapper, paired with a Mexican San Andrés negro binder and a filler blend that combines tobaccos from Nicaragua and Pennsylvania. As has become commonplace for Dunbarton, the cigar features familiar packaging/banding with a new color takeover; in this case, a vibrant red accompaniment to the core Sobremesa look/feel.

Cigar enthusiasts can expect a medium-full body with a layered profile that balances earthy richness, mocha sweetness, and a touch of pepper spice. Additionally, the Sobremesa Solita Red debuts with a full year of aging on each cigar, with its limited production set to kick off what will likely be one of the most sought-after cigars for the foreseeable future.
